If it's a freemans to go with your pals, easy to get home and there is nothing else doing that day then I get why you might but why anyone would want to socialise with people they work with or do a work social is beyond me. Bore me later.

I took my Boy via free Tickets to Chelsea ManU quarter final replay a few years ago , We were on holiday and a bloke at work was a Chelsea member, Scottish of course. So I took them as Manu U and Chelsea are popular , surprisingly in this part of the world, and would be good for the boy to see them. shit game no atmosphere in the Mathew Harding stand < I managed to jam about 6 pints of Singha down my throat at half time and beyond I was so bored ,and I missed Ba's goal

I accecpted a corporate ticket for chelsea v bolton last year or the year before. No clients to entertain or anything so four of us from work went.
The food was decent, the free beer and wine went down a treat!
The game however was too much to handle.
Took my seat missing the first 20 mins, went down to the bar 10 mins before half time and didnt go out for the second half!
That would be my advice. Go, eat and drink for free, watch as little of the game as possible. Then either leave early enough to beat the traffic or stay late enough (still drinking) to let it die down.
